Good to Know.
We have limited funds available for the operation of our shelter and this directly impacts the number of animals we can take in.
We have limited space availability throughout the surrender, intake to adoption (re-homing) process.
We have to consider the welfare of our shelter animals and this means that we can not create situations where overcrowding occurs as this has significant impact on the health and wellbeing of our shelter animals.
While we would love to take in all stray animals this is not practical.
How you can help.
Before you surrender an animal please consider if you can adopt or foster the animal until you find a home for it.
Please also consider de-sexing the animal to help reduce animal population and avoid further needs for surrender.
Please use your network to try and re home the animal.
Please neuter your male and spay your female animals and it is best practice to keep your pets secure in your own property and avoid letting them roam in the neighbourhood.
If you still need to surrender an animal you can do so by filling the form below.
Please note that this is the only way we can accept surrenders into our shelter. We currently have a waiting list and you will be contacted via email when a space becomes available.
Please do not bring surrenders to our shelter unless we have contacted you.
